For an ORGANIZE package with digital photos: The work is done remotely via screen share (or send your hard drive to me) and is completed within 3-4 weeks. The time may vary based on upload/download times, internet speed, and your availability to screen share. At the completion of the package, you are provided a workflow to continue keeping up with your new photos.
Now, thanks to digital cameras and our trusty smartphones, we're snapping pics like there's no tomorrow.
We're all guilty of flooding Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and every other photo-sharing platform with our visual stories.
But let's face it, who has the time to sift through the thousands of pics we've snapped, let alone print them out?

Digital organization service includes two phases - FOUNDATION and FINE-TUNING
an hour INTAKE call where we discuss where your data is, what platform you use (Windows or Mac platform).
From this initial meeting, instructions will be sent on what to GATHER and from which multiple sources (i.e. computer(s), phone(s), cloud service(s), external hard drive(s), USB drive(s), CDs, DVDs, SD card(s). If we are located close - we will meet in person. If work will be handled remotely - details will be sent.
Once photos have been gathered, the MERGING of photos will be completed.
Duplicates will be removed during this stage.

What exactly is digital photo organizing and how do we even start?
First, we bring all your digital photos together in one place. This includes photos from your computer(s), phone(s), your spouse's phone, old hard drives, old computers, SD cards from digital cameras, and CDs.
The next step is where we take care of duplicates (often, MORE than two copies exist!) and sort photos into folders. Usually, folders by year and month work for your project but we can talk if you have other thoughts. Imagine, finding all those photos from your trip to Hawaii (or Alaska, beach photos, and get-togethers at Grandma's), nestled in the folder of the year and month you took the trip. Did anyone else have the desire to look at old vacation photos during the Covid lockdown? An organized photo library definitely makes it easier!
The final and most important step (even if you do nothing else DO THIS) is where we make sure that your centralized, organized photo collection is backed up properly - we recommend using a combination of an external hard drive, a cloud service and off-site copy.
Do I have to be there the entire time?
No, most of the work is actually done without you there. If meeting in person, photos can be removed from computer(s) and phone(s) while we meet. If using cloud service, password is needed to download photos.
